Raeann Gilbert, a graduate last year from the Bloomfield Adult Education program, has received the GED Graduate of the Year Award from the GED Testing Service, in Washington, DC.

The award is bestowed to a GED graduate in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut who has displayed exceptional resilience in achieving their academic credential.  Registration for this fall’s Bloomfield Adult Education program is in-person Aug. 29-30, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., at Carmen Arace Middle School.  Classes started at Carmen Arace Middle School  Sept. 5
