Mark your calendar: The Save Our Schools for Our Kids Foundation is sponsoring its annual Back-to-School event, Sunday, September 10, at Rockwell Park Field, Rockwell Avenue in Bloomfield, from noon to 4 p.m.
The goal of the event is to inspire, encourage and create a positive environment for all children, including those dealing with special learning challenges. Backpacks and school supplies will be available.
