Bloomfield Public Schools, in partnership with Integrated Health Services, held a virtual informational session on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 as part of a Board of Education Special meeting. Integrated Health Care Services shared information on School Based Health Centers, which provide free standing medical clinics located within a school facility.
School Based Health Centers are supported by grants and provide primary care, dental care, social/emotional behavioral health services, and general health education. The district is considering Laurel Literacy Academy and the Carmen Arace building for two health center locations.
