Black History Month

Black History Month is an annual national celebration that pays tribute to the many remarkable and varied achievements by African Americans in United States history. Events are underway at all of our schools, as students celebrate and learn more about the significant contributions of Black people to American history, culture and society. Engaging assemblies, classroom lessons, research projects, and artistic performances are planned that focus on the stories, innovations and legacies that have shaped our nation's heritage.  Click here to learn more about these events at our schools.
