On May 14 2024, Ms. Lynette Easmon, Board Chair and Dr. Bethany Silver, Acting Superintendent presented the CABE Student Leadership Awards at the Board of Education meeting.
The district was honored to present six truly exceptional student-leaders with this award. Students were nominated by their school principal because they demonstrated the following leadership skills:
Willingness to take on challenges
Capability to make difficult decisions
Concern for others
Ability to work with others
Diplomacy
Ability to understand issue clearly
Ability to honor a commitment
