Bloomfield Public Schools

I received a random call from a Bloomfield citizen asking how they could help support our students that may need supplies or a uniform. I asked if this was a parent wanting to assist other students. The caller said, No, I'm in my twenties. I don't have any kids. I just want to help." That beautiful person was Jerissa Johnson and we thank her for her willingness to give and genuine good heart. She donated black polo shirts for BHS students and backpacks filled with school supplies to Metacomet. She declined to take a picture but said she'll see us again around the holiday. Simply fabulous!
