This beautiful Bloomfield citizen brightens our day once again. Jerissa Johnson is a selfless and generous person. Inspired by acts of kindness from her childhood, Jerissa reached out the Office of Family Engagement to shower a few deserving students with presents. Her individual act of kindness illustrates a commitment to community that we can be proud of. When asked what made her want to give she stated, "I remember being in Jamaica as a child and someone coming from America and bringing us toys. My sister and I talk about that. I want students to have that same feeling." Thank you Jerissa for being a shining example benevolence.
