Planning Night

On Tuesday, November 19th, BHS' School Counseling Office ran a Sophomore/Junior College Planning Night for all 10th and 11th grade parents and students. Ms. Caroline McCall, a representative from the University of Connecticut's admissions office was present to cover all aspects of the college process. This need to know informational session covered all of the important details of the college process including: making sure you are taking the right courses at high school, the college application process, financial aid, community college vs 4 year colleges, scholarships, and much more. If you couldn't attend this event, please make sure you are prepared for the college process by reaching out to your child's school counselor.

If you are a parent of a current junior, it is hard to believe that in just seven short months, your child will be a senior! It is very important that your child create a realistic post-secondary plan as time goes by quickly. Mrs. Plummer, 11th Grade School Counselor, would like to invite all juniors and their parents/guardians to schedule a Junior Planning Meeting.
