Students in Mrs. Ashborn's art classes are currently engaged in painting projects focused on exploring and refining their skills in acrylic painting techniques. Each student is tasked with designing and creating an original composition that incorporates key artistic concepts, including blending, layering, and creating various textural effects.
Additionally, students are exploring the contrasts between abstract and realistic styles, allowing them to expand their creative boundaries and personal artistic expression. This hands-on approach not only strengthens technical skills but also fosters critical thinking and problem-solving as students navigate the challenges of translating their artistic visions into compelling works of art.
