BHS Senior, Charles Fennell is adding another academic feat to his already impressive resume. Charles a well known scholar in the Bloomfield School District has just done something that no other Bloomfield High School student has ever done. Before coming to BHS, he was named the Connecticut Spelling Bee Champion in 2018 as an 8th grader at Carmen Arace Middle School. He is also heavily involved in the BHS community. Charles is a member of the cross country and track teams, where he was named all conference in track and field, a member of the CAS-CIAC State Student Advisory Council on Education, a 2024 CIAC Sportsmanship Conference Panelist, and a member of BHS' National Honors Society and French Honors Society.
