Raheem Barclay

Congratulations to BHS Junior, Raheem Barclay on being accepted into the Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America (LEDA) program at Princeton and Yale University this summer! The LEDA program is a free, five-week residential program, which brings together student leaders for academic preparation, leadership training, college guidance, and standardized test preparation. Students will spend the first four weeks at Princeton University and the final week at Yale University.

The LEDA program is highly competitive, with an acceptance rate of less than 8%. Successful applicants must complete a rigorous three-part application process to be considered for one of the 100 spots available. LEDA has opened the door to opportunity and maximized the leadership potential for hundreds of high-achieving, under-resourced students who might never have even considered applying to the nation's most competitive colleges. Statistics from past students who participated in the LEDA program include: 86% enrolling at a Barron's "Most Competitive" College, 36% enrolling at an Ivy League College, and 90% graduating within six years.

Congratulations, Raheem Barclay!
