The State of Connecticut recently changed the kindergarten-entry age. Starting in the 2024-2025 school year all children entering kindergarten must be five years of age on, or before, Sept. 1. A Connecticut Sun free girls basketball clinic will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 9, at the town's community center at 330 Park Ave. Two sessions:

Schools are conducting Parent Teacher Conferences on December 6-8. We strongly encourage parents/guardians to meet with their children’s teachers so they can play a role in their child’s academic and social development. There will be Early Dismissal on those days.
BHS is also hosting Financial Aid Night tonight, December 5, 6 p.m., in the BHS Library for all parents/guardians of seniors. University of Hartford Director of Student Financial Aid Katherine Presutti will explain how to apply for financial aid and discuss the relevant forms.
