Hello Wonderful Carmen Arace Intermediate School Families, The staff has created an incentive idea for the month of September to support students wearing the correct school uniform. Starting tomorrow, Friday, September 8th, students will be working toward an end of September GYM JAM celebration if they are in uniform 100% of the time! Please see below for the uniform policy. This is the same blurb that was shared in the welcome emails starting at the beginning of August and each communication since. Please support your children in meeting this incentive goal! School Uniform: Bloomfield Public School has a district uniform policy. Our students must wear pants, skirt or jumpers that are navy blue or khaki. We do not allow jeans, sweatpants, or pants with holes. Skirts must be no higher that your child’s knees. Students must wear a polo shirt with a collar that is navy blue or white. The shirts must be tucked into the bottoms. If your child would like a sweater, they may wear a plain (no decorations, designs, or writing) navy or white sweater without a hood. We would like all of our students to wear sneakers daily. Feet must be completely covered. No slides, or open toe shoes are allowed for safety reasons. Since grade 5 students do go outside for recess most days, sneakers are great shoes for them to run around in. We have also designed a CAIS full zipped sweatshirt and long-sleeve shirt if you would like to order from Custom Ink. Click HERE for the link.

BPS thanks the Niagara Bottling Company for being a valued district business partner. Niagara has been consistent with its support of our schools. Most recently, the company donated more than 35 cases of water to help address a drinking -water problem at Wintonbury Early Childhood Magnet School. We appreciate Niagara’s prompt response to our challenge.
