Hello, Metacomet families! Our fundraiser items will be delivered very soon! Parents/guardians may pick up the fundraiser orders on Wednesday, June 4, from 12:00 to 5:00 PM. If you will be picking up fundraiser items, please remain in your car and pull into the Parent Pick-Up line on the side of the cafeteria. This day is also an early release day! Field Day for Metacomet staff and students will be on Thursday, June 5th, during the school day. Parents are expected to apply sunscreen on their child before arriving at school, as the nurse, staff, and teachers are not permitted to apply sunscreen on students. Students should wear and/or bring sneakers, a water bottle, and sunscreen.
The Family Picnic for Metacomet staff and students will also be on Thursday, June 5th, starting at 6:00 PM. Dinner is $5 per person. The dinner fee is paid at the event. Due to the town voting on Wednesday, May 28, the Metacomet Bird Song Concert & Art Show is now on Thursday, May 29. Students whose work has been selected and those in the choir should attend on Thursday. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
