Good morning, parents. I wanted to let all families know that the safety of our students is the most important thing for us. I have and will continue to check to make sure all of our doors are locked. Our students will be staying inside for recess and gym classes. I am told that the police will patrol the area.

Hello, Metacomet Families. This is just a reminder that we will have a Dress Down Day every Friday at Metacomet. Students are asked to donate one dollar to dress down. Hello, Metacomet families! We've had a great first week! We did notice that students enrolled in the Extension Program have been picked up rather than attending Extension at Laurel. To ensure your child is accounted for, please contact the Extension Program directly at 860-209-2696 if your child will be absent on a specific day. Remember that the Extension Program is dedicated to providing a safe and enriching environment for your child, so it's crucial to keep the lines of communication open.
